Basrah University’s Higher Diploma: On Renewable Energy Future in Iraq & Development

A higher diploma was discussed in the College of Administration and Economics, University of Basrah on the future of renewable energy in Iraq and its impact on sustainable development by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Amna Taher Jassim. The higher diploma reviewed the conceptual framework for renewable energy and the development of renewable energy in the world. The higher diploma aimed at that Iraq enjoys renewable energy sources, in particular solar energy, wind energy and bioenergy. The higher diploma concluded that Iraq despite its privilege in the availability of renewable energy resources, especially solar and wind energy, as well as water energy, still uses it to a limited extent on water energy and more on traditional energy.
