During Graduation Ceremony of 68th Group at Baghdad University, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi reviewed that three years of diligent work at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research have yielded a rich experience with tangible results and significant academic achievements. 

Dr. Al-Aboudi highlighted that thanks to the efforts of its academic staff, the Ministry and its universities have successfully opened the door to internationalize education, achieving a positive rise in the rankings of Iraqi universities in International Rankings, raising the scientific research index, increasing the number of Iraqi university journals indexed in global databases and solidifying cooperation and understanding with their foreign counterparts, as well as attracting thousands of international students through the (Study in Iraq) program.

His Excellency demonstrated that the graduation ceremony included a parade of graduating students and faculty members, as well as deliveing speeches by the President of the University of Baghdad, Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Insaf, the top student, and the scientific assistant during the certificate awarding and oath-taking ceremony.

Dr. Al-Aboudi honored the top students in the day and evening studies and stressed that attention to the graduates file has been and remains the cornerstone of the priorities of  Higher Education and its institutions, and that it represents the identity that dominates the work and employment spaces in Iraqi universities, colleges and specialized departments.
