Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research reviewed that the final exams were started of public and private universities and colleges under direct the ministerial supervision of Higher Education and Ministry of Health. Higher Education added that the observers of the examinations reviewed a distinguished attendance of the students who took the field and online exams in all Iraqi universities and in various scientific and humanitarian specialties with health and preventive procedures in light of the recommendations of the Supreme Committee for National Health and Safety. His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nabeel Kadim Abid Al-Sahib appreciated the efforts of university’s institutions to fulfill their scientific obligations and responsibilities, face challenges and invest their available capabilities to implement their programs and plans for the academic year 2021/2020. Dr. Abid Al-Sahib expressed the Ministry’s appreciation for the cooperation of the Ministry of Health and its institutions in supporting and inspecting universities, following up on the approved preventive measures, providing health requirements and giving the necessary scientific impetus to Iraqi academic institutions. For his part, Minister of Health and Environment, Dr. Hani Al-Aqabi, confirmed during his visit to Al-Mustansiriyah University that a plan was developed in cooperation with the Ministries of Education and Higher Education and Scientific Research to maintain the health and safety of students during their exams. It is worth mentioning that the Presidents of universities and Deans of Colleges confirmed that the logistical, technical and service procedures were provided with high level, as well as providing an appropriate examination environment for the requirements and needs imposed by the mechanisms of blended education, as well as the university and college councils were held on an ongoing to follow up the tests and address the problems that may arise according to the legal powers granted to them. It is worth mentioning that Ministry of Health confirmed the exam environment is safe and the field tests experience is successful.
