College of Environmental Sciences, Al-Qasim Green University organized a symposium on green chemistry and its safe applications.
The symposium, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, included reviewing the reasons behind creating a new science which based on chemistry in order to change the traditional concepts and methods to prevent pollution resulted by the chemical operations.
The symposium reviewed the production of conventional chemical processes of the chemical industry, drugs, oil and gas industry of different pollutants which affect directly human environment and threat safety of environment and human.
