We faced deliberate political targeting to tarnish the reputation of Iraqi universities through unaccredited indicators that have no connection to official international rankings.
· Our
universities achieve significant results in international rankings, and our
scientific research is documented in accredited international databases.
· The number of
Iraqi scientific research indexed in international databases has reached
approximately 185,000, with 60% of this academic output achieved during the
current ministerial term.
· The
achievements made over the past three years are distinguished by their
pioneering nature in the history of higher education in Iraq.
· Among the most
notable of these achievements is Iraq's international recognition from the
World Federation for Medical Education (WFME).
· Iraqi
universities host more than 3,000 international students from over 40
nationalities as part of the Study in Iraq program.
· We signed an
agreement with the Chinese side to establish the first subcritical training
reactor in Iraq.
· We will soon
lay the foundation stone for advanced scientific laboratories, the first of
their kind in the Middle East.
· We implemented
an exceptional plan for graduate admissions based on the actual need of
university institutions, and we accommodated the largest number of applicants.
· Private
universities compete with their public counterparts in the Ministerial
evaluation exam.
· We launched a
unique program to send gifted school students to prestigious international
universities.
· We will Inaugurate
the College of Excellence and the College of Artificial Intelligence at the
University of Baghdad in early September, those admitted into these colleges
