During a special ceremony, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi announced launching of the Talent Scholarship Program for the academic year 2025/2026 at advanced international universities.

Dr. Al-Aboudi emphasized that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has taken steps to secure the necessary financial requirements and communicate with foreign universities.

His Excellency directed the Directorate of Scholarships and Cultural Relations and Cultural Attachés to implement, monitor and complete the program for scholarships for talented students in various specializations at international universities.

Dr. Al-Aboudi highlighted that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has consistently contributed to provide strategic opportunities for study at international universities and meeting the developmental requirements stipulated in the government program and the National Strategy for Education in Iraq, with the aim at enabling Iraqi students to pursue important specializations in prestigious scientific centers.

His Excellency demonstrated that the ceremony was witnessed delivering speeches and performances by the Minister of Education, the Deputy for Scientific Research Affairs and two students.

It is worth to be mentioned that the conference was attended by the Minister of Education, Dr. Ibrahim Namas Al-Jubouri, Deputies, Advisors, General Directors and a number of talented students, as well as honoring the talented students and taking group photos.
