College of Dentistry, University of Al-Qadisiyah held a symposium on the applications of laser in dentistry.
The symposium, in which a number of faculty members participated, reviewed types of laser used in the field of dentistry and laser modern applications in removing of tooth decay, forming teeth, filling and treating nerve as well as using laser in oral surgery, gums, dental implants and orthodontic surgery.
The symposium also reviewed laser applications in the field of dentistry in dental treatments which is faster and more effective than the other methods.
