During the National Day of the Yazidi Genocide and other Iraqi communities, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its universities organized a moment of silence, in line with the Iraqi academic institution's commitment to national and humanitarian stances.
Higher Education reviewed that its parks and university campuses across Iraq witnessed widespread participation from employees who observed a minute of silence in memory of the martyred victims and in remembrance of the crimes committed by terrorist gangs against Yazidi civilians among the Iraqi people.
For their part, the participants raised the Iraqi flag, emphasizing the importance of supporting national efforts to achieve justice and redress for the families of martyrs and victims and documenting the positions of the Iraqi people in confronting the forces of terrorism and darkness.
