During the honoring ceremony held at Mustansiriyh University, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi honored the top students in Iraqi universities with the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research's Outstanding Students Award.

Dr. Al-Aboudi emphasized the Ministry's commitment to provide a stimulating environment for outstanding students and provide all forms of support, as well as providing them with opportunities to continue their postgraduate studies, contribute to innovation projects and benefit from research and technology incubators at Iraqi universities.

His Excellency encouraged heir participation in regional and international academic conferences and forums.

Dr. Al-Aboudi reviewed that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, through its strategic vision, has achieved a number of pioneering scientific accomplishments over the past three years that have consolidated the position of Iraqi universities.

His Excellency highlighted that these accomplishments have laid decisive foundations for comprehensive digital transformation, the creation of specialized academic disciplines and formations, the rise of Iraqi universities in international rankings, the increase in published scientific research, the increase in the number of Iraqi university journals indexed in global databases, the launch of master's programs in artificial intelligence, and the attraction of thousands of international students from 47 nationalities to the (Study in Iraq) program.

Dr. Al-Aboudi congratulated the top students, their universities, and their families on this achievement.

His Excellency demonstrated that the Ministry will remain an incubator of ambition and a supporter of the path to scientific excellence in Iraq, worthy of shouldering the responsibility and trust in all circumstances.

For their part, the honored top students expressed their pride and gratitude for this unique initiative, as well as stressing that their recognition with the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research's Outstanding Achievers List Award represents a significant incentive to continue the path of excellence and innovation.

It is worth to be mentioned that the ceremony was attended by senior staff, presidents of public and private universities and their assistants, deans of colleges, heads of departments and the families of the honorees.
