College of Arts, University of Baghdad discussed a Ph.D. thesis on indicators of climate transition by the postgraduate student, Mr. Qusay Kadhim Alawi.
The thesis aimed at analyzing changes in rainfall distribution patterns and intensifying during the rainy seasons from 1954-1955 to 2022-2023 to understand the dynamic mechanisms behind the temporal and spatial variations in rainfall.
The thesis recommended expanding comprehensive climate studies based on analyzing the mechanisms of low-pressure movement and the impact of global warming on their activity, modeling the paths of these depressions, and identifying the factors that stimulate their northward expansion.
