In cooperation with the Independent High Electoral Commission, Directorate of Media and Government Communications at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research organized a symposium on voter registry update.

The symposium aimed at raising electoral awareness and emphasizing the importance of updating voter registry data to ensure the exercise of the constitutional right to vote during elections.

The symposium included delivering a detailed presentation of the procedures adopted for the update process and the cases requiring updating, such as changing residence or correcting personal data.

The symposium concluded with the Independent High Electoral Commission's mobile team carrying out a field update of the data of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research employees, this was part of the effort to support joint efforts and strengthen institutional cooperation.

It is worth to be mentioned that the symposium was attended by the Commission’s representative, Mr. Ali Abdullah Jaber.
