During the 70th anniversary of Fulbright which was organized by the US Embassy in Baghdad, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Abdul Razzaq Abdul Jalel Al-Esa participated in the ceremony of the 70th anniversary of Fulbright Scholarship Program.
His Excellency said that Iraq is one of the active countries in Fulbright Scholarship Program, which provides an opportunity for young people wishing to study in the United States to complete their higher studies in different specialties.
Dr. Al-Esa added that the Ministry is keen on increasing the number of scholars in the program annually and His Excellency stressed on the importance of signing memorandums of understanding with the American side to establish a mutual fund to give the opportunity to outstanding Iraqi students to participate in the program.
