Directorate of Central Laboratories, merged Ministry of Science and Technology delivered a lecture on the relation between risk management and internal auditing in light of institutional governance concept.
The lecture reviewed types of strategic, financial, operational, environmental, technological and occupational risks, applications of the new quality standards (ISO 9001-2015) and (ISO 17025-2017) and replacing the precautionary procedure by the ideology of thinking that based on studying the risks facing the institution and its usefulness in increasing knowledge and achieving objectives.
The lecture also reviewed the nature of the relation among risk management, controlling and internal auditing as a distinctive method for identifying and controlling risks via the adopted procedures of the institution before and after the operations.
