During a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Iraq, Mr. Anil Bora Inan, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi reviewed developing fields of academic cooperation between the two countries' institutions.

Dr. Al-Aboudi affirmed Iraq's readiness and its university institutions on cooperating in the field of joint scientific research and developing contexts of understanding and cultural exchange.

His Excellency highlighted that the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its universities attract thousands of international students under the Study in Iraq program and are preparing to launch its third edition soon.

For his part, Turkish Ambassador expressed his happiness with the level of coordination between the two sides and the level of development indicators in Iraq, as well as reviewing the desire of Turkish students to study at Iraqi universities, which have a significant history and academic presence.
