During the activities of the Women's Integration into the Labor Market Forum, held in Martyr Al-Hakim Hall at the University of Baghdad, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi honored the mothers of martyrs and women of Iraqi sacrifice.
Dr. Al-Aboudi emphasized that Iraqi women
have achieved a significant and influential presence in all fields and have
endured crises under all circumstances.
His Excellency highlighted that the Iraqi
Constitution provides a framework that guarantees the development of women's
status and their integration within the family and society and reinforces the
constants that summarize a history and reality of chastity, dignity and
preservation of the identity of the approach and behavior established by the
Holy Quran, which serves as a resource from which legislative and procedural
contexts draw their wise content.
Dr. Al-Aboudi reviewed that the Ministry of
Higher Education and Scientific Research continues with confident strides in
its efforts to support educational programs that give women their unique status
and enhance their fields of expertise, including teaching skill development,
and community service.
It is worth to be mentioned that the
forum's activities included delivering official speeches and presentations of several
success stories, with the attendance and participation of a number of faculty
members and professional staff, as well as female students representing the
College of Education for Women at the University of Baghdad.
