NTU’s Master's Dissertation: On Smashed Glass Wastes & Asphalt Concrete Mixture

A master's dissertation in the Technical College of Engineering-Mosul, Northern Technical University on the effect of using smashed glass waste as fine aggregate and filling on the properties of the asphalt concrete mixture by the postgraduate student, Mr. Ahmed Daham Muhammad. The dissertation aimed at designing asphalt concrete mixtures containing smashed glass remnants in a Marshall method and to demonstrate the characteristics of these designed mixtures. The dissertation concluded a technical feasibility study via using smashed glass waste in asphalt mixtures as a partial substitute for fine natural aggregates, as well as disposing of glass waste and reducing the consumption of natural resources used in highway paving.
