A research team in the College of Science, University of Babylon obtained a patent on manufacturing a new micro-flow cell to be used in geriatric injection analyzing systems.
The patent, in which granted by the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control Unit of the Ministry of Planning, reviewed that The new microsatellite is made from cheap and disposable plastic materials toward most chemicals which is designed to significantly reduce material consumption by operating in a low-calorie micrometer besides it can also be used in various types of reactions within the geranium analyzing systems and routine analyzing within the system detector.
The patent included reducing high consumption of reactive materials which consume during injection cells used in most different analytical systems consume at least 450 microliters while the new microwaved cell consumes 27 microliters to most chemical reactions, small in size, cost-effective and easy to be washed with the solution.
It is worth mentioning that the new microsatellite cell is characterized by small microsatellites of the solution to be measured compared to the normal geranium analyzing cells and they are very low in cost, eco-friendly, uncontaminated and less prone to damage.
