College of Education for Human Sciences, University of Diyala held a symposium on vegetation of the shores and their impact on the watercourse of the Diyala River.
The symposium, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, the aim at identifying the effect of river plants in the watercourse, especially the Diyala River, treating methods and mentioning the factors which influence the course of the Diyala River.
The symposium concluded that there is spatial variability of the natural plant species in the studying area via their location from the water source.
