Department of Environment and Water, merged Ministry of Science and Technology organized a symposium on the risk of the technique of chromosomal comet to the workers in the oil industry.
The symposium, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, reviewed the risk of hydrocarbons in carcinogenicity and growth of tumors and the genetic toxic effect of the DNA on lymphocyte cells of the workers.
