University of Kirkuk reviewed with the delegation of Turkish University of Yuzuncu Yil developing academic relations, exchanging scholarships and experience and promoting faculty members, president of the University, Dr. Abas Hasan Taqi said.
Dr. Taqi added that the two sides agreed on creating academic cooperation via providing training for faculty members, sending scholars of university and postgraduate studies to benefit from the experiences of the university in the fields of practical laboratory application.
Dr. Taqi mentioned that the university is keen on activating memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with the academic Turkish institutions in the fields of providing training for faculty members and student, holding mutual symposiums.
For his part, the delegation expressed the readiness of the university to enhance the academic and research relations with the University of Kirkuk and activating the mutual cooperation in all walks.
