College of Agriculture, University of Missan organized an online workshop on safe ways of disposing the toxic waste. The online workshop reviewed toxic and hazardous wastes, their production sources, their most important health and environmental characteristics, effects and a presentation of the most important global and local agreements and legislations that regulate toxic waste management in order to achieve sustainable development goals. The online workshop highlighted the most important principles of safe preventive management and techniques for disposing of hazardous wastes or minimizing their effects, such as waste of health institutions and other harmful environmental risks. The online workshop recommended the necessity of increasing community awareness, knowledge of the types and risks of toxic waste and adopting modern and safe methods of toxic waste management.
