College of Science, University of Al-Mustansiriyah organized a workshop on safety and chemical security in laboratories.
The workshop, in which a number of employees and postgraduates participated, aims at highlighting the most important requirements to achieve safety in laboratories in general and to provide laboratory personnel with the latest scientific developments and conditions to be followed during work.
The workshop reviewed chemical safety such as how to deal with chemical waste in laboratories and disposal and methods of conserving and using of high-risk chemical, biological, radiation and nuclear materials.
