College of Science, University of Al-Mustansiriyah discussed a master dissertation the effect of LASER parameters on the structural and optical properties of thin films of tin telluride Nano-particles by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Nihal Raad Manea. The dissertation reviewed a practical study of the preparation of the (Tin-Tellruide) alloy, the synthesis of (SnTe NPs), using of the LASER pulse technique, the FE-SEM technique, the ultraviolet-visible spectrum (PL spectrum) and the characterization of the LASER coefficient via using the (XRD) technique. The dissertation highlighted that the increase in the total number of LASER additions as a medium improved the optical properties of thin-film Nano-particles (SnTe) for optical applications. The dissertation concluded that the shape of the nanoparticles (SnTe) depends on the installation conditions and techniques (the number of laser pulses) and the melting point (SnTe) can be controlled via the number of LASER strokes.
