College of Remote Sensing and Geophysics, Al-Karkh University for Science organized a symposium on geophysical applications in the exploration of natural resources
The symposium, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, aimed at developing exploration in oil sector via using different geophysical methods and reviewing modern geophysical techniques in the detecting natural resources basing on the researches of Iraqi academics and specialists.
The symposium recommended activating mutual cooperation between the relevant universities and the relevant ministries, providing the scientific journals with researches, studies, projects, and specialized students' researches and keenness on preparing a geophysical database which collects scattered information and transforms them into standard formulas that can be activated on the databases.
