College of Engineering, University of Diyala held a symposium on the applications of contours.
The symposium, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, reviewed contour as one of the types of conversions used in the field of communications to compress images at certain rates to get enough space during sending the information.
The symposium also reviewed the principles and characteristics of this application such as dividing the image into sections and different directions while maintaining the edges of the image.
