During chairing the meeting, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi followed up  the procedures related to the inauguration of the Colleges of Excellence and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Baghdad in preparation for the academic year 2025/2026.

 Dr. Al-Aboudi emphasized the need to keep pace with the latest scientific and academic trends in establishing the College of Excellence, which includes the fields of applied information technology, business administration, e-commerce, accounting and banking, sociology, philosophy and data science.

His Excellency reviewed that the College of Artificial Intelligence also includes departments and programs related to engineering applications, biomedical applications and data.

Dr. Al-Aboudi directed completing the necessary procedures and the determination of an appropriate timing for the opening of the Colleges of Excellence and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Baghdad in preparation for admitting students for the next academic year 2025/2026.
