Center of Applied Physics, Ministry of Science and Technology obtained a patent on using of color sensing technology in detecting of heavy elements in water.
The patent, in which granted by the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control Unit of the Ministry of Planning, included preparing Nano-crystalline gold solution via an electrochemical manner so that gold atom can detect the heavy elements, which are usually complex and expensive and the patent was characterized by the chromatic change as well as the electrical resistance of the Nano-gold solution as an indicator of the concentration of cadmium in water with concentrating reach to 10 m Mall.
