Department of Community Health in the Diwaniyah Technical Institute, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University held a course on blood samples and comprehensive laboratory tests, the Faculty Member in the Department, Dr. Falah Hassan Kadhim said. Dr. Kadhim added that the course reviewed the scientific mechanisms in drawing and collecting blood samples and the diseases that can be examined in the samples. Dr. Kadhim continued by saying that the course aimed at raising the efficiency of workers and protecting them while dealing with samples and the infected in light of the outbreak of the emerging corona virus. Dr. Kadhim demonstrated that the course highlighted the methods of testing blood samples via using modern equipment and the conditions for health protection while dealing with the patient and blood samples, as well as reviewing the importance of using sterilization materials and occupational safety rules to reduce exposure to disease.
