AATU: On Diagnose Asthma

The faculty member in the Technical Institute- Diwaniyah, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Mrs. Fatima Abboud Jaloub conducted a study on the diagnostic value of neutrophil lymphocytes in the diagnosis of asthma in Baghdad. The study reviewed determining the proportion of neutrophil and lymphocyte in patients with allergic bronchitis and asthma in children and adolescents to diagnose those infected. The study aimed at taking blood samples from the injured to measure the proportion of white blood cells neutrophil and lymphocyte in the blood. It is worth mentioning the study was conducted on the research sample of children and adolescents in the governorate of Baghdad. The study found that an increase in the percentage of white blood cells, neutrophils and lymphocytes in the blood, is an indicator of asthma and bronchial sensitivity.
