During a meeting with the Governor of Karbala, Eng. Nasif Al-Khattabi, University of Karbala reviewed cooperating in scientific and service projects, President of the University, Dr. Basim Khaleel Al-Seaidi said. Dr. Al-Seaidi the meeting also reviewed the university needs of service, scientific and urban projects that the province can finance to serve the scientific and research movement in Karbala. Dr. Al-Seaidi added that the meeting came to emphasize the need to extend bridges of cooperation and communication with the government institutions to reflect the principle of the university to service community, Dr. Al-Seaidi appreciated the role of the province in providing all methods that would contribute to develop the educational process in the province. For his part, Dr. Al-Khattabi said that the Governorate has a lot of projects that need for a partnership with the university in order to implement them according to visions that based on scientific research. Dr. Al-Khattabi stressed on the importance of supporting educational institutions as a real gateway in building and supplying the community with scientific energies and expertise.
