Al Furat Al-Awsat Technical University inaugurated evening studies in the medical and engineering specializations for the academic year 2020-2021, President of the University, Dr. Mothafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi said. Dr. Al-Zuhairi reviewed that the medical specialties included the Department of Anesthesia Techniques in the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Pharmacy Techniques and Nursing Techniques in the Technical Institute-Kufa and the Department of Health Technologies, Administration and Nursing Technologies at the Technical Institute-Diwaniyah, Department of Optometry and Forensic Techniques in Technical Institute-Najaf and Department of Techniques and Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques in Technical Institute-Samawah. Dr. Al-Zuhairi added that the engineering specialization included the avionics technology engineering department in the Technical College -Najaf and the medical devices maintenance techniques at the Technical Institute-Najaf.
