A Ph.D. thesis was discussed in the College of Science, University of Al-Nahrain on the implementation of gold nanoparticles to treat breast cancer by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Sabreen Judeh Badi. The thesis demonstrated examining gold nanoparticles, their application in breast cancer treatment with several different medical devices, their success in killing cancer cells and their ability to eliminate pathogenic bacteria efficiently. The thesis reviewed that the use of nanoparticles on some cell lines of breast cancer has its effectiveness in reducing disease.
