His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Abdul Razzaq Abdul Jalel Al-Esa reviewed with the head of the UNESCO in Iraq, Mrs. Louise Haxthausen mechanisms of technical and vocational education and training project for graduates .

Dr. Al-Esa confirmed on Iraq’s interaction in the frame of cooperation and opening on the international institutions which guarantee a partnership that will develop different academic fields in Iraq.

His Excellency added that the Iraqi university institutions are committed to implement developing skills of graduates of the technical and vocational level to enhance staffs that will contribute in labor market.

For her part, Mrs. Haxthausen reviewed the project of (TVCT) of technical and vocational education and training which will contribute in reviving the economic development and increasing the competitive ability according to the international standards.

Mrs. Haxthausen and the senior head of the projects in UNESCO, Mr. Rory Robert announced on a workshop in the next of July to review the capacities and needs to succeed the project in Iraq.
