College of Science, University of Kirkuk discussed a Ph.D. thesis the synthesis of iron nanoparticles using hydroxytyrosol and their hematological, biochemical, and immunological potential in rats induced with phenylhydrazine-induced hemolytic anemia by the postgraduate student, Ms. Iqbal Sameen Ali.
The thesis reviewed that iron nanoparticles, study their structural and morphological properties, and evaluate their effectiveness as antioxidants, as well as their role in improving blood parameters and reducing the complications of hemolytic anemia.
The thesis concluded that hydroxytyrosol-loaded iron nanoparticles demonstrated high efficiency in enhancing hematological indicators and reducing oxidative stress compared to conventional iron supplements, suggesting their potential as a promising therapeutic alternative.
