During inking a Memorandum of Understanding with Tehran University of Medical Sciences Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University reviewed developing scientific and research cooperation between the two universities, President of the University, Dr. Modhafar Sadiq Al-Zohairi said. Dr. Al-Zohairi added that the university is working in light of the directives of His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Qusay Al-Suhail and the university is keen on enhancing a scientific partnership with the recognized international universities. Dr. Al-Zohairi continued by saying that the agreement aimed at providing training program for students and faculty members, technical cooperation in the fields of joint research and establishing joint international conferences as well as scientific cooperation in postgraduate study programs in accordance with the possibilities available to the university and facilitating the admission of students in health and medical specialties for the current academic year which the university announced which consisted 35 scholarships to study Master and Ph.D. degrees.
