A Board study was discussed in the College of Medicine, University of Al-Qadisiyah on studying comparing variables in CT and nasal endoscopy for patients with chronic sinusitis by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Israa Salim Obaid. The study demonstrated a comparison of the variables found in the CT scan and nasal endoscopy for patients with chronic sinusitis via subjecting the case of (35) patients (18 females and 17 males), their age between 15 years - 55 years suffering from chronic sinusitis. The study reviewed subjecting the sample to a binocular examination of the nose and a CT scan, as well as examining the distribution of age and gender with the clinical symptoms of the disease and comparing the anatomical variables. The study highlighted that both examinations (CT scan and nasal endoscopy) complement the other to increase the diagnostic accuracy of chronic sinusitis.
