On behalf of the Prime Minister, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi honored international graduation projects at the Arab Architecture Festival and the Excellence Award winners on the occasion of Baghdad being named the Arab Tourism Capital 2025.













Dr. Al-Aboudi emphasized that the festival represents a real opportunity to support distinguished creative and architects in the Arab world and an incentive for them to offer modern solutions that contribute to the modernization and reconstruction of cities while preserving their historical and cultural structures.












His Excellency reiterated the importance of strengthening Arab and international cooperation in implementing joint projects, while also highlighting Iraq's commitment to deepen productive partnerships with scientific and cultural dimensions, which contribute to consolidate the foundations of sustainable development according to an integrated and comprehensive vision that enhances Iraq's position within its Arab, regional and global environment.












Dr. Al-Aboudi concluded the event by presenting prestigious awards celebrating excellence and creativity, as well as closing ceremony of the festival, hosted by Mustansiriyah School, featured speeches and presentations by a group of distinguished architects and judges.














It is worth to be mentioned that the event was attended by advisors, union representatives, international and Iraqi experts and representatives of several Arab and foreign diplomatic missions.
