The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced that QS World University Rankings has announced the results of its edition of the Arab Region University Rankings (QS Arab Region University Rankings 2026), in which thirty-six Iraqi universities achieved top competitive rankings.
Higher Education reviewed that the global ranking (https://www.topuniversities.com/arab-region-university-rankings?countries=iq) included (296) institutions in the Arab region competing based on indicators such as academic reputation (30%), employer reputation (20%), faculty-to-student ratio (15%), international research network (10%), web impact (5%), faculty with doctorates (5%), citations per research (5%), research per faculty (5%), international faculty ratio (2.5%) and international student ratio (2.5%).
