His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi inaugurated a number of art exhibitions in cooperation with the Iraqi Artists Syndicate, this initiative falls within the framework of the initiative to enrich the visual space in universities, which he launched to support the visual arts and integrate them into the academic environment.

Dr. Al-Aboudi reviewed that the events witnessed distinguished works by a number of Iraqi artists, amidst a diverse academic and cultural audience.

For their part, the Iraqi Artists Syndicate represented by its head, Dr. Jabbar Judi, presented a symbolic painting entitled (Baghdad) to His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi expressing its appreciation and pride in his unique initiative, which it described as an unprecedented step that places Iraqi art at the heart of the university landscape and opens new horizons for universities to become integrated scientific, cultural, and artistic spaces.

His Excellency emphasized that integrating art into university spaces reinforces the cultural dimension of academic institutions and strengthens their commitment to linking knowledge paths with aesthetic taste. 

Dr. Al-Aboudi highlighted that the initiative has been included among the strength and competitiveness criteria in the Iraqi university rankings.
