In cooperation with the Department of Computer and Internet, College of Media, Al-Iraqia University organized an online workshop on information pollution during crisis and Corona pandemic news as a model via free conference call application. The online workshop reviewed the concept of information epidemic, false news and addressing methods, as well as setting plans and media strategies to confront the information epidemic in the community. The online workshop aimed at raising awareness of the importance of developing an appropriate media plan to achieve the successful management of crises and publishing facts to reduce the spread of rumors and false news about the emerging Corona virus crisis.
