During the central ceremony, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi honored the top graduates of Al-Nahrain University on the occasion of the graduation of its thirty-second class.

Dr. Al-Aboudi emphasized that the achievements of Iraqi universities over the past three years, including the internationalization of education, the strengthening of global quality standards, the rise in scientific research indicators, progress in international rankings and international recognition in the field of medicine as well as the development of an advanced digital system, the attraction of international students and the launch of central laboratories and a subcritical system, represent the culmination of his first term in office. 

His Excellency reviewed that these achievements demonstrate a commitment to choose the path of success and placing community service through higher education at the forefront of national priorities.

Dr. Al-Aboudi reiterated his commitment to develop and modernizing academic programs, overcoming challenges and strengthening institutional integration. 

His Excellency affirmed that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with its staff and experts, bears the responsibility of addressing the rapidly increasing enrollment rates in academic institutions and regulating the relationship between universities and the public and private sectors to ensure that graduates' outcomes align with development requirements.

It is significant to mention that the graduation ceremony included a parade of college graduates and faculty members, as well as deliveing speeches by the university president, Dr. Ali Abdul Aziz Al-Shawi, the student representative and the university president’s assistant for scientific affairs and the recitation of the graduates’ oath and the awarding of certificates.
