Department of Media and Public Relations, University of Al-Mustansiriyah delivered an online lecture on the risks of digital addiction in light of home quarantine and increasing the use of social media, Head of the Department, Dr. Fatima Salomi said. Dr. Salomi added that the online lecture, in which a number of employees participated, reviewed the various risks caused by digital addiction to people, in light of the quarantine imposed due to Corona Virus that increase the citizens' navigation in social media and gaming. For his part, Head of Media Department in the College of Tourism, Mr. Mohammed Zamil reviewed a number of recommendations such as determining specific times to navigate in the virtual world, avoiding creating fake and random accounts, canceling notifications and following-up of a number of trusted websites and pages while observing the controls and conditions of the communication process
