A master's dissertation was discussed in the College of Political Science, University of Al-Nahrain on the future of clean energy projects globally in light of the decline of traditional energy projects - a case study of Iraq by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Wahaj Muhammad Ismail. The dissertation aimed at studying the theoretical framework of traditional and clean energy and its importance and role in the global economy, as well as studying the concept of sustainable development and its relationship to renewable energy and Iraq's potential in renewable energy because it is an energy-dependent producing country. The dissertation reviewed that traditional energy cannot be dispensed with at the present time, which constitutes about 85% of global production and there are many renewable energy sources that can be used as an alternative to traditional energy to reduce pollution, provide energy for the future and apply modern technology.
