College of Engineering, University of Al-Qadisiyah discussed a master dissertation on the treatment of effluents from Al-Diwaniyah Hospital by coagulation and oxidation techniques using potassium ferrites by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Zahraa Mohsen Ghafel. The dissertation highlighted the effectiveness of potassium iron in the oxidation process with its effect as a coagulant in treatment processes. The dissertation aimed at conducting an examination of the performance of potassium ferrites in the treatment of wastewater generated from Al-Diwaniyah Hospital, as the multifunctional potassium ferrites in water and wastewater treatment was considered as an oxidant/disinfectant and coagulant. The dissertation reviewed the effectiveness of potassium iron in the treatment of liquid waste,  increasing its concentration and pH improved the efficiency of COD removal,  increasing the mixing speed improved the efficiency of removal, as well as increasing the potassium concentration leads to a decrease in the final value of COD waste generated from the hospital of Al-Diwaniyah.
