The faculty member in the College of Engineering, University of Diyala, Mr. Ali Muhammad Salih manufactured a medical face mask to prevent corona virus. Mr. Salih said that the sterilized medical mask is easy to be used for more than one time to provide protection for the face from direct exposure to coughing and sneezing spray for uninfected and suspected people and protect workers in health and pathological analyzes laboratories and workers in most health fields. Mr. Salih added that the mask manufacturing process based on a number of materials that available in the Iraqi market as well as taking into consideration the low economic cost It is worth mentioning that the Corel DRAW program was used in the designing process as well as the using a 2Co Laser machine as a type of CNC in the cutting process.
