A Ph.D. thesis was discussed in the College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Diyala on the establishment and cultivation of cellular hanging of the Rue plant and the effect of some irritants on the accumulation of compounds outside the body by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Duha Sabah Nader. The thesis aimed at studying the effect of biological and abiotic irritants on the production of furanocoumarins. The thesis demonstrated that the best induction of callus was obtained from the plant parts of the stems when grown on MS medium.
