During an honoring ceremony of the adopted Women Empowerment Program for a number of top women employees, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nabeel Kadim Abid Al-Sahib said that the effectiveness of society and the positivity of career work are not limited to the unilateral excellence of State employees but rather than that women who have formulated a remarkable impact on the performance of the jobs entrusted to them, the accuracy of work and respect for work timings. Dr. Abid Al-Sahib urged to employ women in the State’s institutions, to empower them to contribute to decision-making, protect their rights and invest their creative aspect in order to serve the public interest. For her part, the Director of the Department of Women's Empowerment, Dr. Ahlam Shaheed expressed her appreciation for this kind honoring and the high support for women in the Higher Education and Scientific Research. Dr. Shaheed praised the Ministry’s keenness on ensuring to empower women with their rights and providing an environment for positive interaction that serves educational institutions in Iraq.
