During the symposium of Iraqi Society for Statistical Sciences in cooperation with the Secretariat of the Ministers Council ,His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Abdul Razzaq Abdul Jalel Al-Esa confirmed on that the Ministry is coordinating with the Ministry of Education on developing the statistical curricula.

  His Excellency said that the Ministry is working on creating bilateral cooperation with the institutions in order to a c tivate and develop the statistical work in Iraq in order to provide scientific productions form the basic in de termining and drawing the public polices and setting the appropriate programs.

 Dr. Al-Esa added that the Ministry and all its institutions are keen on holding symposiums which have great faculty  members and researchers in the field of statistics to contribute in providing approaches in order to draw future s tatistical policy.

 His Excellency called on the Ministries and government institutions to develop human capabilities of the d epartments and sections of statistic and Dr. Al-Esa expressed the Ministry’s readiness to cooperate with the other  Ministries to provide studies and researches in order to contribute developing statistical policy in Iraq.

I t is worth mentioning that the symposium was attended by Secretary-General of the Ministers Council, Dr. Mahdi A l-Alaq, specialists and faculty members.
