College of Nursing, University of Kirkuk organized a symposium on the autism.
The symposium, in which a number of specialists and researchers participated, included defining autism, treatment with autism, spreading rate and reasons of autism besides diagnosis.
The symposium confirmed that autism is caused during childhood's period resulted by disorder in the function of the biological brain of the child.
The symposium recommended the need of parents guidance on the nature of autism, strengthening the role of the family, increasing the participation of institutions and schools in forming of public policy and programs for their children and the need to keep the child's presence in school.
