College of Nursing, University of Kufa discussed the effect of the effectiveness of self-care on the outcomes of hypertensive patients by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Noor Jassim Mohammed. The dissertation reviewed high blood pressure, which has become a serious public health concern worldwide because it is very common and is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease. The dissertation aimed at using of a quasi-experimental project on 85 hypertensive patients who were sent to the Najaf Center for Cardiac Catheterization and Surgery for clinical consultation during the study, distributed on a non-probability (purposeful) basis and assigning them randomly to one of the two study groups (50 patients) or the comparison (35 sick). The dissertation recommended that comprehensive and intensive population studies should be conducted to determine the effectiveness of another educational program in reducing complications, especially for hypertensive patients.
